How to Cook Quinoa
- Rinse quinoa with fresh water. Quinoa has a natural bitter coating called saponin that needs to be rinsed away first.
- Combine 1 cup of quinoa with 2 cups of water in a medium pot.
- Simmer until quinoa is tender, approx. 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Rest the quinoa for 10 minutes and fluff with a fork before serving.
- Serve and enjoy!
