How to Cook Quinoa

  1. Rinse quinoa with fresh water. Quinoa has a natural bitter coating called saponin that needs to be rinsed away first.
  2. Combine 1 cup of quinoa with 2 cups of water in a medium pot.
  3. Simmer until quinoa is tender, approx. 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Rest the quinoa for 10 minutes and fluff with a fork before serving.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
